This renewal underscores both ours and HFZA’s commitment to sustainable growth and environmental protection.”
For his part, Saud Al Mazrouei affirmed that the partnership with Bee’ah reflects the authority’s commitment to the sustainability of its activities and operations, and its unremitting efforts to provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly work environment, and to conserve resources.
Al Mazrouei said that investors do realise that sustainability is an essential part of their strategies to achieve success and growth and enhance their reputation among their customers and consumers, stressing that the authority is always committed to providing the best business environment for its investors and companies.

In addition to offering industrial and commercial plots of land, HFZA, the second-largest industrial-free zone in the UAE, provides advanced infrastructure and modern facilities that strengthen external expansion plans for investors, especially in import and re-export to the world’s markets.
It also provides countless competitive advantages, most notably a single-window operation that boosts the efficiency of performance and eases procedures of doing business, along with multiple tax exemptions, repatriation of capital and profits, full foreign ownership of the business, and quick access to regional and global markets. Bee’ah has executed a comprehensive strategy focused on sustainability and digitalisation, which has reaped rich benefits in the form of the region’s highest waste diversion rates, and the GCC’s first waste-to-energy plant. Bee’ah has supported the region’s agenda for a circular economy and personifies the UAE’s ambitions in leading the dialogue surrounding sustainability in the Mena region.
Earlier in February the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) has signed an investment agreement with Medtra, one of the world’s major companies in the production and manufacturing of healthcare equipment and products, to expand Medtra’s operations in the Mena markets.
Under this agreement, Medtra, which operates in 40 countries, is set to invest some Dhs100 million in HFZA through the construction of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, using the latest technologies and innovations.
