Air Arabia has announced the resumption of direct flights between Sharjah and each of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting from Tuesday (Sept.14).
All passengers travelling to the kingdom are required to download "Tawakkalna" mobile application before departure and upload their vaccination status.
Passengers are also urged to check the travel update at Air Arabia’s website before departure.
Air Arabia has also introduced free COVID-19 insurance coverage, which is automatically included as part of the booking and no additional documents are required from passengers.
An official source in the Saudi Ministry of Interior stated on Tuesday that it was decided to remove the UAE, South Africa and Argentina from the entry banned country list as of 11:00am on Wednesday, through the country’s land, sea and air ports.
Citizens will be allowed to travel to the three referred countries, the source said, stressing the importance of adhering to all the precautionary and preventive measures adopted.
