Airbus showcases new hybrid solutions at Dubai Airshow 2021

Airbus Secure Land Communications is showcasing its portfolio of modern hybrid communication and collaboration solutions for smart airports at Dubai Airshow 2021, taking place from the Nov.14 to the 18.

During the exhibition, Airbus holds at its booth a demo for its Tactilon Agnet solution, a cloud-based collaboration service, to highlight how its features can support smarter teamwork among airport staff and security personnel.

Delivering the best of both Tetra and broadband solutions, the push-to-talk and end-to-end encrypted Tactilon Agnet is packed with state-of-the-art features for better connectivity and higher operational efficiency and safety. Users can securely talk, send multimedia messages and exchange live video with their teams with just a click. Apart from its multimedia-enriched messaging and video transmissions capabilities, it is also equipped with emergency calls and real-time location tracking functionalities to promote better staff coordination and faster response time.

Tactilon Agnet is a modern, easy-to-use, flexible and scalable collaboration solution that is efficient for group communication. By rolling out this solution airports can reduce operating costs, manage flights more effectively and improve security - all of which are vital to running and managing smart airports.   “At airport facilities, efficient supervision of different aspects of the operations is critical to optimizsing processes, minimising aircraft turnaround time and maximsing customer satisfaction. Airbus has been providing the UAE’s aviation industry with its mission-critical collaboration and communication technologies for over a decade. Its roster of clients in the country includes Dubai Airports, Abu Dhabi Airports and Sharjah Airports.

Dubai Airshow 2021 is expected to be the biggest edition of the event since it began in 1989. The Airshow will run until Thursday, Nov.18, bringing the aviation, aerospace, space and defence industries together for what promises to be the most extraordinary experience in the history of air shows.

This year, the event will welcome more exhibitors than ever before, including over 370 new exhibitors, and representatives from almost 150 countries. There will be civil and military delegations from more than 140 countries and the event will feature 20 country pavilions, including new additions from the Czech Republic, Belgium, Brazil, Israel, and Slovakia.

The global event is expected to welcome more than 85,000 visitors this year. It will feature world-class products, solutions, technologies, and services from market leaders and disruptors, enhanced networking opportunities and state-of-art aircraft display along with major industry announcements.

Aircraft Display - one of the biggest highlights of the show will be the static park and flying display, which will feature more than 175 of the world’s most advanced aircraft on ground and in the air. The Airshow will feature aerobatic displays from the UAE Air Force’s Fursan, the Russian Knights, the Saudi Hawks, Surya Kiran from India and the Sarang Team of the Indian Air Force. Checkmate, the next generation Sukhoi fighter jet will make its first international debut for the next generation Sukhoi fighter jet. The Boeing 777X and the Leonardo AW609 will also make debuts at this year’s Airshow.
