Dubai has recently adopted a new plan designated to develop its digital economy. The Dubai digital economy event was packed with interactive workshops that identified key market issues and challenges, including the need for more Digital companies and specialised talent in Dubai.
With several practical recommendations, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has structured three pillars to grow the digital economy; enhancing the digital business environment, supporting the development and expansion of digital companies and attracting leading global digital companies to Dubai.
UAE's digital economy contributes about 4.3 per cent to the UAE's GDP. With more than 1400 startups in the country, 90 investment funds in the digital sector and 12 business incubators, UAE has shown an accelerated growth of new and already established businesses of the digital industry.
One such India-based group, Sunshy, had recently marked its launch in the UAE aligning its expansion with the growing demand for digital requirements in the country. The former is an agency that has gained global exposure since its launch.The founders, Vishal Jain and Sejal Joshi have helped global brands to grow by leveraging digital media trends.
