After having firmly entrenched itself in the UK market the consumer electronics brand, Lazor has forayed into the Mena region. The brand will have its Mena region headquarters in Dubai, which is synonymous with the posh shopping malls and penthouses.
Seokpyo Yang, CEO, Lazor spoke at length about his expansion plans and he said: “After having spent over two decades in Samsung Electronics and later on serving Eros, Dubai has been his dream destination for any consumer electronics brand with so much diversity.
“Dubai is definitely on my map for expansion for some time now as the ‘city of wonders’ is one of the fastest growing cities in the world having a world class state-of-the-art infrastructure, booming tourism, strong & transparent regulations and no other city in the world offers so much variety in consumer electronics as this city.” Yang added.
“We are looking to provide premium British quality to the customers to the consumers in the Mena region and having a headquarter in Dubai will help us grow and penetrate the market.”

Yang echoed that the reason for expansion into Mena region was to upscale the tech ecosystem and take innovation to the next level as the brand constantly delivers value to the industry and society at large.
The expansion also coincided with six-month-long exposition, staged under the central theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” and which defied the tremendous challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering a resounding success.
“Expo 2020 Dubai saw millions of visitors from across the world, this was the first world expo held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region and the first hosted by an Arab nation.”
