The Emirates Business Women Council (EBWC) under the Federal Chambers of Commerce is organising the World Women Entrepreneurs Summit (WWES) 2023, a first of its kind initiative.
Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, Honorary President of the Emirates Businesswomen Council (Mother of the Nation).
The World Women Entrepreneurs Summit is set to take place from March 10-11th,2023, in Abu-Dhabi, under the theme, “Creating Impactful Business in the Digital Age,” aligning with the UAE’s vision of enhancing the status of women in society and supporting sustainable development and community growth.
WWES aligns with the UAE Strategy 2031 - 2071, which enhances the status of female entrepreneurs locally, regionally, and globally. The summit will gather business leaders, policymakers, experts, and women entrepreneurs from across the world to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the digital world.
Speaking about the summit, Farida Kamber AlAwadhi, Chairperson & President, UAE Emirates Business Women Council (EBWC) said, “By promoting opportunities in the digital era, the WWES seeks to pave the way to transform business growth with digitalisation. We aim to bring together entrepreneurs, associations, and women leaders globally to enable digital transformation and showcase the business opportunities that arise from it, fostering growth and cooperation to draw a new synergy through this platform.”
The summit will bring high level speakers, dignitaries and delegations from Europe, Japan, Africa Russia, Brazil, the MENA region and other countries all under one roof to celebrate women entrepreneurs across the world who are the Shakers, Makers and Pioneers of building sustainable society and nation. The summit’s speakers, panelists, and moderators come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, providing a broad range of perspectives and expertise thus supporting women embrace technology.
