The renowned lawyer Romain Gerardin-Fresse was honoured on Saturday evening at the 7th Golden Excellence Awards, a ceremony held annually since 2017 to honour prominent leaders in the United Arab Emirates.
The ceremony took place in the gilded hall of the Taj Exotica in Dubai and was aimed at rewarding a dozen leaders who have distinguished themselves by making the UAE shine.
In a stirring speech, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, underlined the importance of the work of these leaders in the business community, who are helping to raise the profile of the United Arab Emirates in the Gulf region and around the world.
His Excellency stressed that they were the pride of the nation and asked them to continue in this vein.
The UAE Minister recalled that Tolerance was an important value in the Emirates, without which it was impossible to live as a community.
The categories covered different fields and different personalities.
Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube, was also honoured, as were Dr Bu Adbdullah, who heads 270 companies in the Middle East, Paras Shahdadpuri, founder of Nikai Group, which employs 6,000 people, and Mohit Malohtra, CEO of Dabur, which has a turnover of $1.2 billion.
Romain Gerardin-Fresse has been awarded the Golden Excellence Prodigy Award in Corporate, Public Law, and Strategy, a prestigious prize which recognizes his leadership in the field of law and strategy.
As head of the GFK Alliance Strategies consortium, Romain Gerardin-Fresse is a fervent promoter of the United Arab Emirates, where he has relocated all his activities during 2023.
With a local presence since 2019, he is a regular contributor to the specialist press and advises business leaders, public figures, high net worth individuals and governments.
The award was intended to honour his professional excellence and his commitment to raising the profile of the UAE.
The lawyer told the press that he was "particularly proud of this award, which has a special flavour", considering himself to be "an Emirati at heart".
