At an intimate event that took place on September 25th, opposite the Burj-al-Arab, the well-known strategy magnate and keen art collector, showcased two of the French artists that he represents. The event was attended by a restricted group of guests.
The French visual artists Ventili Viale and Fouch were shown in the second of a series of temporary exhibitions that were established by the renowned international lawyer Romain Gerardin-Fresse. The exhibition was held in a typical villa in Umm Suqeim.
There were approximately fifty celebrities, real estate tycoons, collectors, and government officials who were able to examine the artworks that were produced specifically for the event. The mood was unique, blending elegance with disruption.
The well-known architect and designer named Ali Behnam-Bakhtiar, who is the artistic advisor for movies stars and royals, was the one who conceived of the arrangement.
'From Paris to Dubai' was the name of the show that featured baccarat tables, candles, and a musician as additional elements.
"For this second in a long line of temporary exhibitions, we wanted to break the mold and offer a one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary experience by making the outside our own," said the curator of the exhibition. According to Romain Gerardin-Fresse, it was essential to experiment with light in order to allow Fouch's sculptures to take on their full depth. Additionally, it was essential to experiment with darkness in order to allow Ventili Viale's backlit works to be taken into consideration.
The ability to admire the magnificent Burj Al Arab in the background was made possible by the fact that the works were shown in the outside space along a path that was selected by Romain and Ali with Charlotte, one of the artist's agents to accompany them.
The gathering was a huge success, as evidenced by the fact that each and every guest was enthused about it, and almost a dozen works of art garnered a lot of interest from attendees.
His Excellency Yaqoob Al Ali, who is the Executive Director and Private Advisor Office of His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum from the Dubai Royal Family, personally attended the show with his team and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the artist Fouch and Romain Gerardin-Fresse to promote the Art and Culture in the UAE.
When asked about the location of the next exhibition that he is organizing, Romain Gerardin-Fresse expressed his desire to keep the place a mystery. He stated that he wanted to keep it a secret "in order to be able to surprise people, as each event must tell a different story regarding the artist."
