LOS ANGELES: Sophie Turner has addressed the pay gap between herself and fellow 'Game of Thrones' actor Kit Harington.
Turner plays Sansa Stark on the HBO fantasy show, while Harington portrays Jon Snow. Both have appeared in all eight seasons of the show.
Speaking to 'Harper's Bazaar,' Turner said the gap was a "tricky" subject.
"Kit (Harington) got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline," she said. "And for the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots, and I didn’t have that many.
"I was like, 'You know what... you keep that money.'"
Turner added that it is important people are having conversations about equal pay, saying: "So things are getting done, but it will take a while, I think."
The highest paid actors on 'Game of Thrones'are Harington, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). All five get paid a reported $500,000 (Dhs1.8m).
The final season of 'Game of Thrones' reaches TV screens on April 14.
