Video: Pakistani actor Yasir's proposal to actress Iqra live on TV goes viral

Pakistani actor Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz engaged in a live show during Sunday's Lux Style Awards 2019.

In a dramatic move Yasir got down on his knees to propose to Iqra.

As soon as Iqra said yes with a nod, the audience, TV crew and fans went crazy. It is reported that this is the first time a man has proposed to a girl in full public view. The story of the gorgeous couple went viral. 

Choreographer and director Frieha Altaf said, “The moments that are forever! First time in Pakistan a man proposes in public on a big event. Yasir you are brave. Iqra your expressions are timeless. Mubarak. Love and Duas…”

The Suno Chanda star bagged awards at the event. But she wasn’t aware of the other preparation.

But the traditionalists were unhappy with the proposal with some openly shaming the act. But who cares, as long as the couple are happy.

Iqra recently took to Instagram and condemned the act of cyberbullying. She said social media is a wonderful tool to promote positive changes in the lives of other followers. This is achieved through sharing content that is educational, entertaining, and inspirational.
