The incident of police brutality on students protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 (CAA) in Jamia had left many students injured and campus property ransacked.

Delhi Police this time has been accused of inaction after they failed to act during the brutal incident of thrashing of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students by masked outsiders on January 5.
