Kylie Jenner has teamed up with her mother, Kris Jenner, to produce hand sanitiser for healthcare workers on the frontline of the coronavirus outbreak in southern California.
The reality TV star and beauty entrepreneur will distribute the items with the help of her enponymous brands, Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, which are partly owned by Coty.
It’s not clear how many sanitisers will be produced, but all will be donated to emergency healthcare workers caring for patients with Covid-19.
Kylie shares a photograph during her self-quarantine and captions it "bored in the house and i’m in the house bored".
Each hand sanitiser will also include a special message for recipients.
“Dedicated to first responders working to support our communities,” the products will read.
A statement from Coty reads, “Both Jenners have shown support and been outspoken with guidance on social media since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“With this donation to Southern California healthcare workers, Kris and Kylie are taking extra steps to provide help directly to those who need it most on the ground.”
News of Jenner donating hand sanitiser comes after it was revealed that she had donated $1 million to Los Angeles hospitals to help their fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, it was announced that the 22-year-old billionaire donated the money to LA area hospitals to buy necessary equipment to support those on the frontlines of the pandemic.
Dr Thaïs Aliabadi, Jenner’s doctor, announced the generous donation on Instagram. She wrote, “I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude.
"I made a wish to the universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true."
