Kesha has released a short song about home alone recorded at home during the coronavirus lockdown.
The video, which Kesha shared on social media begins with a clip of Macaulay Culkin in the beloved 1990 film, before transitioning to upbeat music.
“I’ve been bored at home so I made a song for u animals!!! And a little video,” she wrote above the video.
“It’s called HOME ALONE... dedicated to all of you sexy people hanging at home.....alone. And also dedicated to the one and only @IncredibleCulk.”
Kesha is not the only artist to have recorded new music during the coronavirus lockdown.
Adam Sandler has performed two songs inspired by life during the pandemic: one paying tribute to the work of frontline medical workers, and the other warning people not to “touch grandma”.
Randy Newman posted a video of his own ditty about social distancing, called “Stay Away”.
