Emirati actor Ebrahim Al Mreasy announced that he tested positive for coronavirus and is recovering in a good health.
He shared his pictures on Instagram lying on the hospital bed, wearing a mask and gloves and showing a positive gesture to fans.
Mreasy also posted a video on YouTube where shared his experience.
He thanked the leadership of the UAE and healthcare workers for impeccable services in the fight against coronavirus.
He advised people to stay home and not to lose hope. “We will overcome this disease,” he said.
The video ended with several other people who said they had been infected with the coronavirus and asked others to stay home to protect their community, including Al Mreasy’s younger brother, Omar.
The Emirati actor has worked in three Emirati movies-- Uncle Naji in the UAE, Beta'a Kollo, and Fareej Al Taybeen.
He is not the first celebrity in the UAE to be infected with cononavirus. Two days ago, Emirati actor Belal Abdullah announced that his grandchild was infected with the virus.
