'Mulan' set to release on Disney+ after coronavirus delays

After much pushback on its release date due to the coronavirus pandemic, "Mulan" will finally be released on Disney+ for a premium, ditching the big-screen, it has been announced.

The live-action movie will come out on the streaming platform on Sept.24, in addition to being released in select cinemas in various markets, Deadline reported, citing Disney's 3Q earnings call on Tuesday.
"Mulan" was originally supposed to be released in March 2020.
It became one of several high-profile movies to be delayed as the coronavirus pandemic prompted cinemas around the world to shut down.
"Mulan" will be accessible at a premium fee of $29.99 (Dhs110) in the US.
The news comes just a few days after it was announced that Christopher Nolan's "Tenet," another highly anticipated movie delayed by the pandemic, would have a staggered release.
"Tenet"is now scheduled to come out internationally on Aug.26, including in the UK, before debuting in select US cinemas on Sept.3.
