Ramsha Khan thanks everyone for the appreciation after her serial ‘Ghisi Piti Mohabbat’ became a runaway hit.
The serial, which aired on Pakistan’s local channel ARY Digital, was lauded throughout its run for its unique and progressive story on marriage amid a huge list of regressive storylines on TV screens.

Written by the very talented Faseeh Bari Khan and produced by Abdullah Seja, “Ghisi Pitti Mohabbat” has been one of the most progressive dramas of 2020.
The cast includes Ramsha Khan, Wahaj Ali, Shahood Alvi, Ali Abbas, Javairia Abbasi, Saba Hameed, Saba Faisal and Samina Ahmad.
The drama reflects on the kind of society we live in and how our women are treated. It also highlights the issue of street and workplace harassment which so many Pakistani women face on a daily basis.
The serial revolves around a girl who is in search of a real companionship but remains unfortunate in this regard, after ending three marriages.
Lead actor Ramsha Khan called it “the greatest experience” of her career. After thanking the team behind the serial, she also thanked her character ‘Samia’ for “teaching me the things I never thought I needed to change in me.”
The versatile and talented actress wrote on her Instagram post, ‘Here’s to the greatest experience I’ve ever had in my career. “A HUGE thanks to Ahmad Batt and Faseeh Bari Khan.”

The serial, which has been a hit with critics, also generated positive reviews on social media, with people heaping praise on the storyline, the ending, and the cast for their performance.

“From a girl who thought marriages defined life and losing faith in herself after they fell apart to a self-made entrepreneur who finally believed in herself,” they added, applauding the character.
