The tic was highlighted as part of a new TikTok challenge that has seen users sharing irritating TV show tropes. While Aniston’s habit isn’t a trope exactly, one fan decided to share their observation about her character Rachel Green with the world.
“What I’m about to say is going to ruin your life, especially if you are a big fan of the show Friends,” they said. “If you are a big fan of the show, I’m begging you, scroll away.”

Friends fans also recently spotted an error in the sitcom’s eighth season when the role of Monica and Ross’ father, usually played by Elliott Gould, was played by someone else entirely.
Aniston made headlines this week after an interview she did with David Letterman resurfaced online.
In footage of the 1998 interview, Letterman suddenly takes a strand of Aniston’s hair and sucks on it, a move fans have branded “disgusting”.
