Mural painter Estefania Leighton, known as Stifi, has been practicing art in Santiago de Chile for the last 10 years.
Stifi truly believes that art can be a powerful medium especially to make social transformations in society.

The Chilean artist Stfi Leigthon’s incredible mural artwork, which is part of the "Breaking Barriers for Equality in Gender" campaign led by a shoe brand, is done on a building of the Yungay neighbourhood in Santiago.
The work entitled Equality was made with an ecological paint composed of a lime base in artisanal paste, which during its drying process absorbs CO2 and reduces harmful polluting particles.

Artist Stfi invites the viewers to be conscious about the tremendous inequality that exists between men and women today.
At the end of the day, Stfi’s mural invites people to question the world around them, something that Stfi herself did in creating this mural by including a male figure in her work, where she typically just displays women.

The diversity and equality of its message was mirrored by the group that helped her execute the mural.
