Looks like singer Nick Jonas is a “Sucker” for hosting award ceremonies.
The Jonas Brothers band member announced on Friday that he’ll be hosting the May 23 Billboard Music Awards, reports Tribune News Service.

The New Jersey-raised singer decided to inject some cheeky fun into the announcement by joking that he’d already been honoured with the first award.
“Truly an honor to have already received the first preemptive 2021 #BBMAs award,” Jonas, 28, tweeted. “Best host ever?! Wow!”
The hosting gig comes close on the heels of the singer and his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas announcing the nominations for this year’s Oscars, which took place on April 26.
Kelly Clarkson, the pop star’s fellow coach on “The Voice,” had been hosting the Billboard awards for three years in a row.
It was announced in late March that Ariana Grande would be replacing Jonas on the music competition series.
Past hosts of the awards show include Phil Collins, LL Cool J and Ludacris.
Formerly a teen pop act, the Jonas Brothers won three Billboard Music Awards last year: top duo/group, top radio songs artist and top radio song for “Sucker,” their first No.1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
They were also nominated for top artist.
