Many Pakistani celebrities also took to the streets, along with other demonstrators to show solidarity with Palestine amid Israel’s continued aggression.
The leading actor of Pakistan showbiz, Fawad Khan, also took part in a protest in Lahore with his wife and daughter, photos surfaced on social media.
The “Humsafar” star carried a placard that read “Free Palestine.”
Rallies and demonstrations were held on Wednesday and Thursday in the capital Islamabad, Lahore, and other cities including Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta Faisalabad, Multan, and Hyderabad.
All were carrying Palestinian flags, banners and posters showing support for Palestine.
Also, Pakistani stars took to social media to talk about Palestine and express their support.
Actress Rabia Butt also took to her Instagram story and expressed her desire to go to Palestine with social activist Faisal Edhi, who decided to apply for visas for their visit.
Rabia Butt shared Fasil Edhi's photo and said, “I wish I could travel along. Was thinking today to apply for the Palestine visa to help our Palestine brothers/sisters. If someone could help?”
Fashil Edhi, head of Edhi Foundation, decided to go to Palestine and applied for his visa.
He said, "I want to take part in the relief operations in Gaza via the Edhi Foundation."
Nearly 450 buildings in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or badly damaged, including six hospitals and nine primary-care health centres, since the current conflict began, the United Nations humanitarian agency said. Some 48,000 of the 52,000 displaced have sought shelter in 58 UN-run schools.
