Pakistani police on Monday claimed to have spotted the suspected killer of a 29-year-old model Nayab Nadeem, who was roaming around her residence in Lahore before her murder. The police also confirmed that the model was not raped.
The police, while sharing developments in the investigation, said that she was not raped and the killer had taken her clothes off, giving the impression that she was sexually assaulted.

Police said in their report that "we have taken the model’s car into our custody and are also taking leads in the investigation from data retrieved from her cell phone."
The police also received images of security cameras installed around the victim's home in DHA Phase-V, Lahore. The video showed a suspicious man walking around her home before the murder, police said.
Earlier in the day, police handed over the body of Nayab, who was found dead in her apartment, to her relatives for the last rites after post-mortem.
According to her autopsy report, Nayab was strangled to death with bruises found on her neck and throat.
A police officer said that the case was being investigated from various angles, including possible death due to resistance to robbery.
