A police complaint has been lodged against Kareena Kapoor over the title of her book ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible’ in Maharashtra's Beed, according to local media.
The actress recently launched the book after giving birth to her second child.
'Pregnancy Bible' is authored by Kareena Kapoor and Aditi Shah Bhimjani and published by Juggernaut Books.
A Christian group objected to the title of Kareena Kapoor’s new book and filed a complaint against her,the co-author and the publisher of the book, accusing them of hurting religious sentiments of the community.

The complaint has been filed at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station in Beed.
Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh president Ashish Shinde lodged the complaint.
The holy word 'Bible' has been used in the book's title and this has hurt the religious sentiments of Christians, Shinde said.

Shinde has sought registration of a case under IPC section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) against the actress and the other two.
The police official confirmed receiving the complaint, but said no FIR had been filed.
Shivaji Nagar Police Station in-charge Inspector Sainath Thombre said that he advised Shinde to file the complaint in Mumbai as the incident happened there.
Bollywood’s Bebo launched the book on July 9, calling it her third child.
Kareena revealed that the book was about her experiences during both the pregnancies.
The 40-year-old recently gave birth to her second child in February.
