The Diana obsession never seems to end. Whether it is on the goggle box or the cinema, the public never seems to have had enough of Princess Diana, more than 20 years after her tragic death in Paris. Now, there is a new treat in store for fans of the top royals of Buckingham Palace.
The lady who has been roped into play the role of the iconic royal is none other than Hollywood star Kristen Stewart of 'Twilight' fame. She bears a striking resemblance to Princess Diana in the first trailer for 'Spencer', an upcoming biographical drama about the beloved royal.
The 30-year-old American actor’s look in the movie directed by Pablo Larraín has been meticulously styled to emulate Diana’s, even down to the accessories.
The first look of the star in full costume was released in January, showing Stewart's strong likeness to Diana in a red coat, blonde locks and a black hat with delicate netting over her face.
First-look photographs of Stewart as the princess sent the internet into a tizzy.

Eagle-eyed viewers have also spotted Stewart’s ring, which is a replica of Princess Diana’s diamond-encrusted oval blue Ceylon sapphire engagement ring.
Diana's oldest son Prince William later proposed marriage to Kate Middleton with the famous ring, which she still wears.
In the trailer, actress Sally Hawkins, who plays an undisclosed role that appears to be a confidant to the Princess of Wales, tells Stewart's character: "They know everything."

Despite the minimal dialogue, the teaser shares a sneak peek into the grand life at the Queen's Sandringham Estate, one that includes lavish meals and stunning attire.
'Spencer' is set in 1991 and takes place over the Christmas holiday as Diana grapples with the decision to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
In the footage, Stewart, dressed to the nines at all times, becomes increasingly emotional as she grapples with rumours of affairs and evades ruthless paparazzi.
The cast also includes Olga Hellsing as Sarah, Amy Manson and Niklas Kohrt.
'Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight wrote the screenplay for 'Spencer', which is scheduled to release on November 5.
