VIDEO: Latvia presents wonderful rendition of ‘Allah Ya Dar Zayed’ in celebration of UAE’s Golden Jubilee at Expo 2020 Dubai

Expo 2020 Dubai celebrated the Latvia’s National Day on Saturday with music and cultural shows at Al Wasl Plaza.

Expo 2020 Dubai wrote on Instagram, “We celebrated Latvia’s National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai today, where we were honoured to welcome His Excellency Egils Levits, President of Latvia, who attended a ceremony at Al Wasl Plaza with His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Commissioner General of Expo 2020 Dubai.”

A music band from Latvia presented a rendition of “Allah Ya Dar Zayed.”

The piece captivated the crowd and received standing ovation.

Expo said on Twitter, “‘Allah Ya Dar Zayed’ by Latvia in celebration of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee! A special tribute from their hearts to ours, at Expo 2020 Dubai.”

The band lead said prior to the performance, “We are happy to be here in Dubai… and we know that UAE is celebrating the Golden Jubilee this year, so we have a present. But what present can be better than a song…

“Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends don’t mind the accent. This is coming form our hearts…”
