A dazzling show featuring molten iron took place at the World Park in Beijing marking the Lantern festival and 15th day of the Lunar New Year.
To perform the act the participants first heat up the molten iron in a blast furnace and splash it into the sky, creating firework-like displays also called "iron flower." Gao, a spectator said, "After seeing the 'iron flower' show, it feels shocking. It is unexpected that such a display came from China's blacksmiths, creating an art form and cultural item from their work. Under the circumstances, fireworks aren't allowed anywhere. This can really attract a lot of attention from people."
Another spectator said, “It's spectacular. It's a form of romance for the Chinese people. It's like a spring breeze came and all the trees started blooming. It feels like the Milky Way falling like a waterfall."
