It turns out that the main dispute between them is the place of residence, as Pique wants Shakira to stay with their two children in Barcelona, while the singer plans to leave for the United States with their two sons.
The relationship between Pique and Shakira was among the most famous relationships that brought together sports and art stars globally, and the news of their separation was a great shock among celebrities.
The separation was announced after a relationship that lasted more than 11 years and resulted in two children.
Weeks ago, Pique was photographed with another woman he believes to be his new girlfriend, during a party in Stockholm.
Marca also reported that Shakira’s brother Tonino was one of the first people to notice that Pique's behaviour wasn't quite right given the seriousness of their relationship, and he was less than impressed by the footballer's habits of spending nights out and living a life completely removed from his long-term partner.
