Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, joined by his family, hoisted the Indian flag at his residence in Mumbai on Sunday as the country prepares for its 75th Independence Day.
It was an expression of his support for the nationwide “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.
Shah Rukh took to Instagram and said, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.
An initiative launched by the central government that all Indians belong to the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and encourages residents to raise the national flag in their homes from August 13-15.
The superstar, dressed in blue pants and a casual white t-shirt, took to Instagram to share a video from his home, Mannat, in Mumbai's Bandra district.
The video shows SRK's youngest son, AbRam, raising the flag.
Also his eldest son Aryan and his wife Gauri were assisting in setting up the flag.
Meanwhile, work-wise, SRK has three big releases in the works: “Pathan,” where she'll play a spy.
The film is produced by YRF and also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is a part of the YRF spy universe where Salman Khan will also make an appearance.
