Have you heard of something called imposter syndrome? It is harbouring doubts about one’s abilities or feats followed by a fear of being exposed as a fraud. Well, that’s what supermodel Gigi Hadid suffers from, she confesses.
Speaking to Vogue, Hadid said: "I have imposter syndrome all the time."
A well-known figure in the modelling world, Hadid gave birth to Khai in September 2020 before separating from Zayn Malik, one-time One Direction member, in November 2021.
This followed rumours of a spat between Malik and Hadid’s mother, Yolanda. However, the pair are now apparently amicably co-parenting their two-year-old daughter.
After becoming a mother, she wanted to try a different type of work.
Although she has a very successful modelling career, Gigi insisted that an office job would make her feel 'much more settled'. At least she can take her daughter there with her, she feels.
Vogue's fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson said: "Sometimes I forget that you are a creative director and a boss of a huge company."
This spurred Gigi on to admit that she agreed with her, confessing that she has imposter syndrome all the time.
The model launched her cashmere brand Guest in Residence last month, according to Indo-Asian News Service.
