Women are always known for their strong observation regarding the relationship with a life partner, as well as their interest in the smallest details of life, and perhaps this feature is what led the singer Shakira to discover that her husband, former Barcelona player Gerard Pique was cheating on her with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti.
A bitter disagreement started since they parted after a 12-year romance.
Rumours emerged that the former Barcelona star was having an affair in June, as the couple shocked their followers with a joint statement announcing their separation a few days later. According to media reports, Shakira learned that Pique was cheating after discovering a small piece of evidence in the fridge.
That is, Strawberry jam in the fridge.
Shakira reportedly came home after a period of travel, and found a box of half-eaten strawberry jam in their fridge, even though Pique, Shakira, or even the kids didn't like strawberry jam, which made Shakira conclude that her husband was having an affair and that another woman was in their home.
Pique had sent a clear message to his ex-wife, Shakira, after their public separation, as the football player responded to Shakira, who mocked him, and that he replaced the Ferrari car with a Renault Twingo.
Pique deliberately posed for an £8,000 economy car, after Shakira revealed in her newly released song that the former footballer had traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo, when he began dating his new partner Clara Chia Marti.
According to reports, Pique appeared smiling at the camera, happily driving his economic car among the most glamorous cars when he arrived to work on his new project.
Shakira unveiled and released a song clip directed at her ex-husband last week, in which the singer explains that she is referring to the 23-year-old whose ex-partner was rumored to have started dating last year before they split, saying, "I deserve two 22's. I have traded a Ferrari for a Twingo. I traded a Rolex for a Casio watch."
