The pacy, catchy tune of ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the film ‘RRR’ has captured the hearts of not just invitees to the Oscar ceremony, but people from all over the world and from all walks of life. Steven Spielberg was all praise for the humdinger, while American actor and dancer Lauren Gottlieb rendered an appealing dance to the song at the Academy awards.
The hugely popular South Korean K-Pop band also rocked to the song, even ambassadors in Delhi, such as the South Korean and German envoys.
Celebrities and actors are all hooked on the hook step of this popular number.
Now, even children have caught on to the viral craze. Children of Bollywood stars, that is. Actress Kareena Kapoor said her younger son Jehangir absolutely loves dancing to 'Naatu Naatu' and that he doesn't start having his food until the song is played for him.
What’s more, she said he wants to listen to the original version not the Hindi dubbed version of the song.”
That the song could strike a chord with a two-year-old shows its overarching popularity. “It shows that they have created something spectacular with the film and the song,” she said.
