The fact that Pathaan, the latest release of megastar Shah Rukh Khan, is a runaway hit has shown one thing: that success has not gone to the actor’s head. He is as down to earth and modest as possible. It also goes to the actor’s credit that there is not one juicy scandal rocking his career or personal life.
The King of Romance is simply adored by zillions of fans not just in India but all over the planet.
There is a humane side to the actor which quietly engulfs his personality. During his recent visit to Kolkata to watch the battle between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, he made it a point to visit one category of people whom the so-called ‘normal’ people would shun contact with: acid attack survivors, according to a report in a section of the Indian media.
The acid attack victims were simply in raptures over their one-off meeting with the charmer of charmers and were bowled over by his charm offensive. Photos of him posing with them went viral on social media: they were shared on Instagram by a fan page.
Among Shah Rukh’s forthcoming films are South Indian director Atlee's Jawan and the Raju Hirani-helmed Dunki.
