Everyone knows that Bollywood’s supernova Salman Khan is extremely close to the Badshah of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan. The duo have acted in several films together, right from the first blockbuster ‘Karan Arjun,’ shot in the 90s. But not many know that Salman once had fired a bullet at Shah Rukh during a party in Rajasthan while filming ‘Karan Arjun,’ following which the megastar fell down and became motionless. There was pindrop silence and everyone just froze. It was all a prank as the shot was blank, confessed Salman to well-known TV anchor and India TV Editor-in-Chief and Chairman Rajat Sharma in a special episode of ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ filmed in Dubai and aired on Saturday night.

Salman said in the episode that during a film shooting, there are blank guns. Salman then got a blank gun from action director Bhiku Verma. There was a party on where Rajasthani folk dancers were present. Salman, in an impish burst, told Shah Rukh that he had an idea: he would call him for a dance, but he had to say no. Then they would engage in a scuffle. “Here is a blank gun, I will fire a shot at you and you will fall down. Shah Rukh said he was not in a mood, he was tired."

Salman’s brother Sohail was there. Salman narrated that he grabbed Shah Rukh’s hand, but he pulled it away. Then he pushed Shah Rukh, after which the Badshah pushed him back. A scuffle ensued. Salman then took out a gun and fired a shot at him. Shah Rukh did a somersault and fell down, according to a report by India TV News channel.
"For ten minutes, I stood with red eyes, and said, “Koi nahin uthega, sabko maar doonga (Nobody moves or I will kill everyone).” Rakeshji's (director Rakesh Roshan’s) hands started trembling. I said, 'Shah Rukh uth, Shahrukh uth (Shah Rukh wake up). When Shah Rukh didn't wake up, Sohail, Bhiku Da panicked. I checked my gun. Suddenly Shah Rukh started snoring. So, the Pathaan was at last alive,” joked Salman, to which the audience applauded and had a hearty laugh.
“I again fired 3-4 shots, and everybody started laughing...I think Shah Rukh is the best performer in the industry. There's no need to say this. This performance was much better than Arjun's (his character in the film) performance. Everybody was convinced and many were trying to flee the set. It was a good experience,” Salman concluded.
