Some Western diplomats are very fond of Indian culture. It is common knowledge that British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis simply loves Indian food.
He tries out different dishes when visiting different cities of the country, such as consuming masala dosa in Bengaluru. Even the newly-appointed American Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, relishes Indian delicacies, like vada pav. What’s more, after meeting Shah Rukh Khan at his home in Mumbai, he joked whether he could end up with a role in a Bollywood film.
Garcetti was hosted by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his home 'Mannat' in Mumbai.
On his Twitter account, he shared a string of pictures from his visit, which also features SRK, his wife Gauri and his manager Pooja Dadlani.
He captioned the image: "Is it time for my Bollywood debut? Had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe. #AmbExploresIndia," according to Indo-Asian News Service.
