The UAE based Indian filmmaker Ayesha Zaki has once again taken the limelight for short films.
Ayesha, whose movies and music videos are streaming on multiple OTT platforms, told Gulf Today that she follows the simple golden rule, “Work in silence and let your success make noise.”
Ayesha said that she really like to make films in UAE as this allows her to work with people of different nationalities and diverse culture.
The filmmaker has won many awards for making short films on social awareness and her work has been acknowledged and appreciated by many.
Ayesha sets a great example of women empowerment in the UAE.
When asked about the driving force behind her success, Ayesha said that if you are brave enough to face the challenges and follow your passion, nothing could stop you from reaching your goals.
Born in Mumbai, Ayesha is the CEO and owner of Tinsel Town Films in UAE.
In her teen days, she used to join her friends on the sets of film shoots just to watch them performing.
Ayesha’s interest started building more on the production part since then.
Later, she joined them as an intern and learned filming techniques and processing.
During her internship, she got an opportunity to work as a part of the production team for Salman Khan, Sunjay Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty starrer movie “Auzaar,” and Sunjay Dutt, Mahima Choudhry and Chandrachur starrer movie ‘Daag The Fire’.
Ayesha is popularly known as The OTT Queen in Dubai as her movies, “Never Judge A Book By It's Cover” and “Papa Businessman” are broadcasting worldwide on major OTT platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar, Tata Play, Tata Play Binge, Jio, Jio TV and more.
