Palestinian artist Noel Kharman has announced the release of her debut EP titled ‘Mouthakerti.’ It delves into the deepest corners of her heart and mind, offering a personal glimpse into her life and thoughts. Recorded at Levant Studios in Amman, ‘Mouthakerti’ has been produced by Nasir AlBashir, renowned for his work with both emerging and established artists across various genres. “This is just the most important thing I learned. An artist must be sincere with the audience. Music requires a connection to oneself to reveal feelings and experiences that they themselves may not be ready to uncover.” The EP’s standout single, ‘Ann Alawan,’ became an instant sensation and marked a turning point in her career. A poignant tribute to the loss of her father, the song showcases the singer’s notable vocals; it has garnered a staggering 23 million views on YouTube, captivating audiences worldwide. “I was seven years old when my father passed away,” Kharman recalls.
“Although I was not aware of things around me back then, I could still see and sense my mother’s grief.” Another noteworthy track in ‘Mouthakerti’ is ‘Enta Eli,’ featuring a lively and fresh collaboration with well-known artist Big Sam.
