Tell us about your book? Who should read your book to get maximum benefits?
Discovering the striking resemblance between the stage and life itself was a revelation for me. Onstage, actors assume specific roles alongside a supporting cast, backstage crew, and the guidance of a director. In my book, I encourage readers to take a metaphorical “Director’s Seat” in their own lives—a vantage point offering a 360-degree perspective. From this seat, one can assess the roles others play without relinquishing the lead role in their own life’s production. The narrative explores the parallels between the stage and life, inviting readers to view their lives as stories they, as scriptwriters, have the power to rewrite authentically. Embracing the notion of being the Main Character, readers see supporting actors and crew as contributors to the larger life show. Empowered by this perspective, readers confidently occupy the Director’s Seat, free from permission, guilt, or self-doubt. They anchor their unique character, leveraging strengths and talents across all facets of life, adjusting their lens to perceive reality beyond preconceived beliefs. My book is a guide for anyone seeking change, eager to navigate and direct their life, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. It’s a compass for those who yearn to find their true selves and orchestrate a meaningful transformation in their lives.

You have been voted, the inspirational Woman of the year 2023, how do you feel about it?
It was a true honour to be given that title. I think women are like superheroes nowadays, doing lots of stuff as career champs, awesome moms, loving partners, and social butterflies. I love inspiring women to find a good balance in life, think about their roles, and prioritise what matters. Self-care and self-love are key ingredients for rocking all those different parts of life!
What is your mantra of life?
My life mantra centres on continuous growth, seeking balance, and fostering meaningful connections. I view life as an ongoing journey of learning and self-discovery, where resilience in the face of challenges is key. Meaningful connections serve as sources of support and inspiration, while staying true to my values guides my decisions. Embracing an open mind allows for exploration and adaptation, creating a harmonious and fulfilling life journey.
You are a mother, wife, life mentor, motivational speaker, author, and singer. How do you manage to carry all your roles with so much of ease and perfection?
Over the years, I’ve come to realize that burnout is an inevitable destination for those of us attempting to juggle an excessive number of roles, believing it’s the fair thing to do for ourselves and others. My suggestion is to trust our instincts and creativity while paying close attention to our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By doing so, we not only bring more harmony and balance to our own lives but also to those around us. Having personally experienced the toll it took on me, I advocate for others to sidestep the pitfalls of the relentless hustle and bustle, sparing themselves from the heavy price that often accompanies it.

Could you please share your secret of success?
While there’s no one-size-fits-all formula for success, I can share some guiding principles that have contributed to my journey. Firstly, passion and perseverance play pivotal roles. Find something you’re truly passionate about, and let that enthusiasm fuel your efforts. Be persistent in the face of challenges, viewing setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. Continuous learning is another cornerstone. Stay curious, embrace new ideas, and adapt to change. Surround yourself with a supportive network—collaboration and shared experiences can be powerful catalysts for success.
Who is your inspiration?
My inspiration is drawn from a myriad of sources, reflecting my innate ability to find inspiration in the diverse tapestry of life. Music, with its emotive melodies and evocative lyrics, serves as a constant wellspring of creative energy. The people I encounter on my journey contribute unique perspectives and stories that fuel my imagination. Being inherently visual, I find inspiration in the breathtaking views that surround me and the nuanced details of everyday life. From the vibrant hues of a sunset to the subtle expressions on people’s faces, the visual world is a boundless source of creativity for me. I possess a natural inclination to adapt quickly, absorbing the essence of my surroundings and incorporating it into my work.
Your advice for aspiring writers.
My advice to aspiring writers is to trust both the process and themselves. Writing is a journey, and each step, every word, contributes to the final masterpiece. Take the time you need, for everything unfolds in its own season. My book, a labour of passion, took its time to materialize, and its launch aligns with the perfect moment—because timing is everything. Embrace the fluidity of inspiration; let it be your guide. Live in the moment, draw from experiences, and infuse authenticity into your work. Don’t rush the creative process; allow your ideas to flourish and mature. Remember, your unique voice deserves the space it requires to resonate. Trust the journey, believe in your capability, and savor the unfolding of your literary creation.
How to manage stress during the age of social media?
I’ve found that sometimes, I just need to disconnect. Taking a break now and then is essential for me. When things get overwhelming, stepping away helps clear my mind, lets me focus on the real world, and brings a sense of calm. It’s my way of hitting pause, taking a breather, and enjoying some offline tranquility.
