Actress Huma Qureshi imparted some words of wisdom on Friday morning, stating that “life is a massive canvas, throw in all the paint.” Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a picture holding a canvas while clad in a navy blue co-ord set and a white crop top.
She completed her look with natural makeup and sneakers. “Life is a massive canvas... Throw in all the paint... But who said you got to paint between the lines... Disrupt,” she captioned the post. Huma has started working on “Jolly LLB 3,” starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
The first instalment of the “Jolly LLB” franchise, directed by Subhash Kapoor, was released in 2013. It told the story of a lawyer locking horns with a senior lawyer regarding a hit-and-run case involving a prominent figure’s son. The second part of the dark comedy courtroom drama had Akshay playing the title role in 2017.
Meanwhile, Huma, who is currently busy shooting for her next project “Gulabi,” shared what perks her up even when she is sleep-deprived.
The “Maharani” star took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a video of her stepping into a bookstore. The actress seems to be at the airport when she spots her maiden novel “Zeba: An Accidental Superhero” kept in the “highlight” section in the bookstore.
She captioned it: “No matter how sleep deprived…..This always perks me up.” Huma also shared a glimpse from the shoot of her upcoming film “Gulabi,” where she will be essaying the role of an auto-rickshaw driver. The shoot was taking place in a desert region. A glimpse also showed camels in the distance.

Talking about “Gulabi,” which is directed by Vipul Mehta, is based on a true story. It tells the journey of a brave auto-rickshaw driver who inspired women to reclaim their destinies.
Huma’s debut novel “Zeba: An Accidental Superhero” is themed around “magic, wonder and resilience”. In the story, the protagonist, Zeba, wears her hijab as a cape and turns into a relatable symbol of strength in the face of challenges.
Huma next film, where she will be seen playing an auto-rickshaw driver, has been christened “Gulabi” and she is currently shooting for the movie in Ahmedabad. Huma took to Instagram to share a sneak peek from the set, holding the clapboard, with the caption: “Gulabi is here!! Shooting begins.”
Directed by Vipul Mehta, the film was announced on International Women’s Day. It revolves around the true story of a brave auto-rickshaw driver who became the beacon of change, inspiring women to reclaim their destinies.
