Actress Rashmika Mandanna is a bookworm going by her latest update on social media, where she shared that she is reading her seventh book. Rashmika took to Instagram, where she shared a glimpse of the book “King of Wrath” by the bestselling author Ana Huang. “Once you start reading there’s no going back… moving to my seventh book now. So exciting,” Rashmika said. On the workfront, Rashmika will next be seen in Allu Arjun-starrer “Pushpa: The Rule,” which is directed by Sukumar. Most recently, the second track titled “Sooseki” from the film was dropped. It is picturised on Allu Arjun and Rashmika. The track is composed by National Award-winning music director Devi Sri Prasad and Shreya Ghoshal has lent her vocal prowess. The film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and also stars Fahadh Faasil in Sukumar’s directorial, which is set to arrive in cinemas on Aug.15.
She then has “The Girlfriend” by filmmaker Rahul Ravindran, who in March 30, shared that Rashmika dubbed in five languages, including Malayalam, for the first time for the teaser of the film, which is touted to be a one-of-a-kind love story. The male lead is yet to be announced. Rashmika will also be seen sharing screen space with Vicky Kaushal for the first time in Laxman Utekar’s historical drama film “Chhava,” set on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
After giving the viral hookstep in the song “Saami Saami” from “Pushpa: The Rise,” actress Rashmika Mandanna is all set to showcase her dancing prowess with another catchy step in the “Sooseki” in the second instalment of the Allu Arjun-starrer “Pushpa 2: The Rule” as per the teaser. The first track from the film titled “Pushpa Raj” was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali and centred around Allu Arjun. The first instalment “Pushpa: The Rise,” was released in 2021. It revolved around Allu Arjun’s character, a coolie, who rises in a syndicate that smuggles red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows in Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Rashmika took to social media recently and shared a video of the newly-built Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, officially known as the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu.
The actress shared a video of herself travelling on the Trans Harbour Link on her X handle, as she spoke about how the engineering marvel opens the door to a new India. “Don’t look at me, look outside the car. What do you see? If you still see a sea bridge then open your eyes bro... Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, India’s longest ever sea bridge, 22 km long, 6 lanes, and it cuts a 2-hour journey to 20 minutes. Unbelievable, isn’t it? A few years ago, who would have thought that this could happen? This knock is on those closed doors which said India can’t dream big,” she said in the video. She added, “But, we built this majestic marvel in just 7 years. Atal Setu has knocked so hard on the future doors that new doors have opened to Viksit Bharat.”
