Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh on Tuesday extended greetings to her fans on International Sushi Day by sharing an unseen picture. Taking to Instagram stories, Rakul, who has 23.7 million followers, posted a picture of herself wearing a green outfit and sitting at a restaurant. In the image, she is holding chopsticks and smiling cutely for the camera. The actress, who was last seen in the Hindi film “Chhatriwali,” captioned the post: “Me waiting for my sushi be like!! #HappyWorldSushiDay to all sushi lovers!!” International Sushi Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the truth and fiction surrounding sushi. On the personal front, Rakul is married to actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani. The duo tied the knot on Feb.21 in Goa. She also starred in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual horror thriller film “Boo,” written and directed by AL Vijay. The film also features Vishwak Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj, Manjima Mohan, Megha Akash, and Reba Monica John in pivotal roles.
Rakul has previously appeared in movies like “Thank God,” “Doctor G,” “Cuttputlli,” “Runway 34,” “De De Pyaar De,” and “Sardar Ka Grandson,” among many others. Meanwhile, Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani wished their dads on the occasion of Father’s Day by sharing unseen photos on social media. Rakul Preet shared a video of childhood pictures with her father, wedding photos, and snaps of her father-in-law.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh, who is set to share the screen with legendary Tamil actor Kamal Haasan in the film “Indian 2,” has opened up about her role in the film. The actress shared that she portrays the character of a headstrong girl in the film. Rakul also said that she resonates completely with her character. Sharing insights into her character in “Indian 2,” Rakul said: “It is surely one of the most special films of my career. Not just for the people that I am working with but also because of my character. I play a headstrong, confident girl, who knows exactly what she wants. And somewhere, I resonate completely with this character in my real life.”
“It’s too early to disclose more, but yes, it’s been a delight to work with Shankar, pulling off this character by picking up from the nuances he shared with me,” she added. The actress will soon be seen in “Mere Husband Ki Biwi” alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. She also has “Ameeri” in the pipeline, starring Neena Gupta and Chunky Panday.
