Veteran Egyptian actor Hassan Yousef passes away

Veteran Egyptian actor Hassan Youssef passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 90, his family announced.

It is noteworthy that Hassan Youssef was one of the most prominent figures in Egyptian cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. He married the retired actress Shams Al Baroudi, and they had four children, including the actor Omar Hassan Youssef.

Hassan Youssef presented more than 190 artistic works throughout his career, with the most celebrated among them being the films Al Khataya, Umm Al Arousa, Al Bab Al Maftuh, Al Zawaj Ala Al Tareeq Al Hadithah, and the series Layali Al Helmeya, Imam Al Du'at, and Zahra and Her Five Husbands.
