Kim Kardashian breaks Internet as she helps free 17 people from jail

Kim Kardashian West has become the rage on the Internet these days after news of her facilitating people to get out of prison has surfaced on social media.
The global icon has so far helped release 17 people out of jail in the last three months.
Apparently Kim did this for a cause.
Meanwhile, Oxygen Media has greenlighted a two-hour documentary that will capture Kim Kardashian West's efforts to free prisoners she believes were wrongly accused. It's a move by the network to expand its true-crime programming.
The project has the working title, "Kim Kardashian: The Justice Project." It comes after her disclosure that she's studying to be a lawyer.
Last year, she lobbied the White House for clemency for Alice Marie Johnson, who served more than two decades of a life sentence without parole for non-violent offenses. President Donald Trump commuted her sentence and signed bipartisan legislation that gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders and boosts prisoner rehabilitation efforts.
Oxygen said in a statement Kardashian West has dedicated "personal resources" to the cause of reform.
According to a report published by BuzzFeed, lawyers Brittany K. Barnett and MiAngel Cody confirmed Kim's involvement in funding the 90 Days of Freedom Campaign in response to President Trump’s signing of the First Step Act, which allows some people imprisoned on federal drug offenses to seek sentence reductions, particularly those serving life terms.
“She’s using her platform to shine a light on this issue,” said Barnett, Kim's personal lawyer and one of the co-creators of the Buried Alive Project.
He added, “She really helped us with the work we’ve already been doing, and she’s helping us amplify the voices of the people who are buried alive.”
