VIDEO: Woman CEO from India, Dipali Goenka breaks into a dance with employees — in office

A video of a female CEO in India dancing to her heart’s delight with employees right in the middle of the day has gone viral on social media.

Dipali Goenka, CEO of Mumbai-based textile firm Welspun India, wearing a colourful outfit was jiving to the tune of the remixed version of a Bollywood humdinger, Muqabla. Her staff too joined in the fun, to loud applause. When the video went viral, online buffs commended the ever-friendly businesswoman for fostering an enthusiastic working atmosphere.

Dance breaks during the day are common in the company which believes in keeping its staff happy. But for outsiders, the sound of happy feet is a rare novelty.

According to a report, Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, lauded Dipali and felt that the move was a ‘way to create a happy culture’. The video shared by Goenka has garnered over 19,500 likes and 464,000 views.

Dipali retweeted his post and tagged other prominent industry barons like Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Gautam Adani and Anand Mahindra, asking them to share their #WorkPlaceHappy videos.
