The Ministry of Health and Prevention issued some precautionary guidelines for safe shopping and to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The official Twitter account shared pictures suggesting to adhere to the guidelines.
The Ministry took to their official Twitter account captioning the pictures, “Tips for safe shopping during the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).”
If you’re sick or one of a high risk group (elderly, chronic disease patient, etc.) consider shopping online or ask help from family member/friends to shop for you.
Avoid shopping in crowded timings also elderly and kids are not allowed at shopping centres
Watch what you touch.
Disinfect cart and basket handles, by using approved disinfectant.
Wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds before/after shopping.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use bent elbow. Don’t forget to wash your hands afterwards.
Stay at least 2 metres away from others, even in the checkout line.
Wear face masks/gloves can control the community spread especially when physical distancing is difficult to maintain.
Use online payment services to limit the transmission through money.
