Chrissy Teigen has opened up about having endometriosis surgery this week, which she described as "tough" but better "than the pain from endo".
The former model had surgery on Thursday to alleviate pain from the condition, which occurs when the uterine tissue lining grows outside the uterus.
In a video shared on Twitter, Teigen is seen reclining on the sofa with plasters over her stomach with love hearts drawn on them.
"I'm okay, I'm home now," she said. "I'm all numbed up."
The 34-year-old later revealed that her children had been particularly active around her while she was recovering.
"I know kids are extremely antsy beings normally but they absolutely absolutely flail, high kick and tornado more when you tell them to be careful around your healing body??" she tweeted.
"They feel the calm energy and they MUST f**** break it STAT!"

Teigen's tweets prompted thousands of replies from other women who had undergone surgery for endometriosis.
"I’ve had 12 endo surgeries," tweeted one person. "My best recovery advice is to carry a pillow around in front of your tum as protection from all things painful. Super great for in the car."
Another added: "So happy surgery went smoothly for you! My cat seems to knead my stomach more after surgery for sure, it's like they know. Wishing you a speedy recovery and good long term results!!!"
Teigen's tweets about surgery come after she revealed that she was "feeling “off” on the week her stillborn son was due to be born.
In early October, Teigen posted a photo on Instagram which showed her crying in hospital and being tended to by medical staff after having given birth to a stillborn baby at 20 weeks pregnant.
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough," she wrote in a statement at the time.
This week, Teigen - who shares daughter Luna Simone, four, and son Miles Theodore, two, with Legend - tweeted that she’s been feeling “off” as "my little Jack would have been born this week."
