Heritage Auctions company in Dallas, Texas, USA, auctioned the game, for sale at $870,000.
"The Legend of Zelda" game on the "Nintendo" platform is one of the most coveted old games presented at the company's first video game auction.
This version of the game received a score of 9 by Watta Games, which evaluates video games according to their physical condition, and this version of the game tape was produced in late 1987.
According to a press release by Heritage, this version is believed to be the oldest.
The “Legend of Zelda” is one of the most ancient epic stories in the gaming world.
The Heritage Auctions Company also presents a sealed cartridge of the original "Super Mario Bros" game, dating back to 1985, for auction at $85,000, in addition to a copy of the game "Super Mario 64" at a price of $100,000.
In November 2020, a version of “Super Mario Bros 3” was the most expensive game ever sold at auction, when it sold at $156,000.
