This falcon in Saudi Arabia has been sold for $72,000

Under the International Falcon Breeders Auction (IFBA), a historical event was held in Saudi Arabia where a rare Saudi falcon has sold for SR270,000 ($72,000).
The auction was organised by the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh.
According to the state news agency SPA, the sale is considered the most expensive Saudi-produced falcon across farms in the Middle East.The falcon is 17.5 inches long, 17.25 inches wide, and weighs 1,105 grams.
Saudi Press Agency reported that the deal took place on the second night of the auction of falcon farms at the club’s headquarters in Riyadh.
Mutaib Munir Al Ayafi, a Saudi falconer won the final bid after strong competition at the auction. Al Ayafi said that he will name the falcon “Raghwan.”
The owner of the most beautiful falcon wins a prize of SR300,000, the second place is SR200,000, and the third is SR100,000.
