Sheikh Hamdan wrote, “I enjoyed mountain biking in Mushrif National Park, the first mountain bike trail in the heart of Dubai with a length of 50 kilometers.”
In August, Dubai Municipality announced the implementation of a 50-kilometre sand bike track in the forests of Mushrif National Park, as the first sand track of its kind in Dubai.
The project provides suitable alternatives to encourage residents to practice cycling, and the track extends for 20 km in the first phase, and 30 km in the second phase, and between more than 70,000 trees.
Sheikh Hamdan directed to transform Dubai into a bike-friendly city, by working to develop laws and the legislative system, and to apply international best practices in developing the infrastructure to suit the use of this sporty and environmentally safe method.
