In a touching moment, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi fetched a chair for a person of determination during a meeting in Cairo.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The video showed Sisi stopped his speech and went to the back of the stage and grabbed a chair for the female student.
The humane gesture of the president has won the hearts of the people around Egypt.
On the other hand, Sisi said during a ‘Differently-Abled’ event in Cairo a special fund for Egyptians with special needs will be established.
Sisi accordingly asked Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the Senate, and the House of Representatives to draft a legislation that would allow donations to the fund.
He said, “I take this opportunity to ask for more programs that include Egyptians with special needs in national programs and national mega-projects.
Sisi commended efforts to enable Egyptians with special needs to participate in all walks of life.
According to the latest statistics published in 2020, there are nearly 20 million Egyptians with special needs nationwide.
