An orangutan at a zoo in Indonesia took offence when a visitor trespassed into the animal’s enclosure to have a photo with the animal.
The visitor, who moment ago seemed to take his adventures move too lightly, experienced the scariest moment one could ever have in a zoo.
In a video of the incident,which has gone viral since then and has garnered over 13 million views, the orangutan is seen holding the visitor by his T-shirt.
The ‘adventurous’ tourist, who few seconds ago seemed to be proud of his move, is seen struggling to free himself from the grip of the giant beast.
The mammal got more furious when some other visitors tried to intervene and grabbed the hapless visitor’s leg also.
The video from the Kasang Kulim zoo in Indonesia has sparked a heated debate about the safety measures at the premises.
Netizens are aghast as to how the visitor was allowed to get so close to the animal.
The zoo authorities later on its Instagram posted an apology saying that the incident is very unfortunate and hope this doesn’t happen again.
Netizens also highlighted how getting too close to animals in cages can be dangerous.
