An angry Australian wife taught her husband a harsh lesson, after she decided to publicly expose her husband for being a “dirty cheater.”
The woman booked a full-page advertisement in a local newspaper to shame her husband for betraying her, according to the New York Post.
The woman, who only identified herself as Jenny, decided to take out her anger at her husband's infidelity, Steve, on the local Australian newspaper, Mackay and Whitsunday Life.
The ad, which was published in print and in large capital letters, reads: "Dear Steve, I hope you are happy with her... Now the whole town will know what a filthy cheater you are," from Jenny.
The woman did not finish yet. The booked the revenge ad with her husband’s credit card.
“P.S. I bought this ad using your credit card.”
The ad was published in the newspaper, which is read by more than 50,000 people in the tropical tourist area next to the Great Barrier Reef, and was flooded with calls from curious locals who wanted more information about the small-town scandal.
In the face of this torrent of calls and inquiries, the newspaper's editors were forced to go to the social networking site Facebook to inform the public that they would not disclose more details about the owner of the advertisement, revealing that she had booked the advertisement through their online portal, but they did not reveal the amount she tried to pay from her husband's credit card.
They added: "We don't know who Steve is, but he was clearly very bad."
The wife's revenge was praised by social networking users, and one of the women wrote: "Ah, I wish I could do that when my husband left me for another woman."
Another fan said: 'I hope he's out of your life now. Carry on, girl.”
